Searching for an accommodation on your own

If you prefer to look for housing independently, you are free to seek for accommodation yourself. Please note that most rental flats in Switzerland are not furnished. In addition, the University of St. Gallen cannot assist you when negotiating with landlords if you look for a flat independently. We recommend that you do not pay any fees or rent in advance to any unknown person until you have seen the apartment firsthand.
